TotalShare - October 2014

Last updated: Wed, 10/08/2014 - 07:38

Body:

Here at TotalEdit.com, we know a lot of really great writers. We get to work with a lot of really amazing writers. And we know that there are more of you out there, and we want to read what you are writing. With this end goal in mind, which is just to allow you a space to share and exchange your talents with other writers, we have created a new segment for our blog. Introducing TotalShare!

Here's how it works:

  • At the beginning of every month (the first Monday of the month is the goal), I will post a writing prompt.
  • Write original content with the sentence or phrase of the writing prompt somewhere in it. In the beginning, the middle, the end. But it has to be in there. There will not be a word count minimum or maximum, but ideally, entries should be between 300 and 500 words. Did we give enough space there? :)
  • Post it to the comments in our blog, on the relevant Facebook post, or via email to bstoker@totaledit.com
  • At the end of the month, we will select one of your submissions and showcase it on the blog and across our social media.

Without further ado (I hate when people say/type that, but here I am!), the prompt for October 2014:

I felt it. But I didn't see it until I looked up.

Get crackin'! We are excited to see what you come up with!
